What’s product regulated COI Certificate of Egypt?
Discover which products are regulated under the GOEIC Conformity Assessment Programme and which are exempted from certification.
GOEIC maintains its own product list to help exporters determine whether or not their products are subject to certification.To find out if your shipment is subject to the GOEIC programme, please check if your products are present in the list below.
GOEIC Regulated Products (as per Decree 961)
- Garments
- Ready-made clothes
- Floor covers & carpets
- Home textiles
- Shoes
- Leather bags
Exempted Products include wallets, belts, bags in textile, wristlets (we here mean bracelets). If the wallets and belt products are present in the same shipment along with other subject goods, they must be reported on the Certificate of Conformity (COC), so as to be also subject to conformity assessment and testing. In case the wallets and belts are shipped in a separate shipment, no COC needs to be issued for them.
