Controlled products include all second-hand products, food and agricultural products, chemical furniture products, textiles and footwear products, toys and children’s health care products and corresponding electronic and electrical products.
When exporters apply for the Uganda PVoC Certificate, they need to inspect the goods before shipment, find a third-party laboratory with accredited qualifications to conduct corresponding tests on the products, and inspect and evaluate the factory when necessary. Then check the corresponding product production process and whether the provided documents meet the regulations. The last step is to review the corresponding test report provided and the compliance of the product again. Only after passing all the applications can the application be successful.
In the Uganda PVoC Certificate regulations, the so-called controlled products are products other than the prohibited product catalog and the exempted product catalog. It is necessary to apply for the corresponding Uganda POVC certificate through formal channels. The issuer of the certificate must be a third-party tester with testing qualifications.
